“In a strategic move to bolster Nigeria’s transport and logistics value chain, CILT Nigeria President Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi (OFR, mni, NPoM, FCILT) paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Secretary of the NBTE, Prof. Idris Bugaje. The visit at the Board’s headquarters reaffirms both institutions’ dedication to professional collaboration and national development.
However, during the visit, the Institute and the NBTE explored key areas of partnership, focusing on enhancing professional competency and skills development within the transport sector under the national qualifications framework.
The CILT delegation included key professional members: Abuja Branch Chairman Emmanuel Onwodi (FCILT), Rakiya Nuhu (FCILT), Abuja Liaison Head Adegbuwagun Adekunle (CMILT), and Office Secretary Rosemary Kingsley.
Similarly, in a unified effort toward professional excellence, the meeting saw a high-level convergence of leaders, including Mrs. Rakiya Nuhu (President, ITPN) and Engr. Prof. Sadiq Zubair Abubakar (President, COREN). This collaborative engagement highlights a shared mission with NBTE Executive Secretary Prof. Idris Bugaje—whose second term was officially renewed today—to revolutionize Nigeria’s skills development landscape.
Strategic talks were held between CILT Nigeria, COREN, and the NBTE, centering on a collaborative framework to enhance professional value within the nation’s technical and logistics landscape.
