The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Badagry Branch, Lagos, has already concluded plans to launch a book in honour of Akutah Pius Ukeyima, Esq, MON, FCILT, Ph.D, the Executive Secretary/CEO of the Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC), in recognition of his commitment and dedication to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The legal body said the proposed publication will be a special edition journal featuring articles from seasoned lawyers and jurists. It will highlight his robust achievements and contributions to the NSC, serving as a lasting testament of his commitment to service.
The Chairman of the NBA Badagry Branch, Barr. Arigbabuwo Lawal, disclosed this recently during a courtesy visit to the Council’s Headquarters in Apapa, Lagos.
NBA Badagry commended the Nation’s Port Economic Regulator contributions to the nation’s Marine and Blue Economy policy and its efforts to improve Port efficiency and trade facilitate.
Responding, Dr. Akutah expressed his gratitude for the proposed honour and reaffirmed the importance of lawyers in protecting people’s interests.
He reaffirmed that the NSC will continue to collaborate with the legal community in promoting national development.
He also emphasized the importance of the legal profession and restated his commitment to his constituency.
The forthcoming publication, the NBA noted, will stand as a lasting tribute to Dr. Akutah’s achievements and his dedication to the Renewed Hope Agenda of the current administration under Mr. President and Hon. Minister of Marine and Blue Economy Ministry, H.E. Adegboyega Oyetola, CON.
