The Executive Secretary/CEO, Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC), Akutah Pius Ukeyima, Esq, MON, FCILT, Ph.D., on Thursday Felicitated with the Managing Director of the Nigerian Port Authority, Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho on his recent election as Vice President (Africa) of the International Association of Ports and Harbor, IAPH.
In a Press statement released by the Nation’s Port Economic Regulatory Agency (Shippers Council) describe d Dantsoho’s election as a reflection of his exceptional leadership qualities.

The Nigerian Shippers’ Council however commended Dr. Dantsoho for reinforcing the Country’s strategic position within the global maritime community and expressed confidence that his tenure will unlock greater opportunities for Africa while Accelerating Nigeria’s aspirations of becoming a ‘leading maritime hub.
While reaffirming its commitment, the NSC pledged its full support to Dr. Dantsoho in his new role, particularly in championing port reform, facilitating trade, and driving sustainable growth in the blue Economy.
