In a decisive move to secure transit corridors, Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has stepped up to power the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) agenda, steering a strategic state-backed campaign to eliminate crashes and deliver safer highways.

The Governor sealed the safety pact on Friday at the Government House while welcoming the newly deployed 29th Sector Commander of the Bauchi State FRSC, Corps Commander C.S. Luka.
He congratulated the incoming Sector Commander on his appointment and warmly welcomed him to the state.
Emphasizing the collaborative nature of the initiative, the Governor stated, “Road safety is a shared responsibility. My administration will continue to invest in road infrastructure and work with agencies like FRSC to ensure our roads remain safe for residents and commuters.”
The Governor admonished motorists to strictly adhere to traffic regulations and actively assist the FRSC in fulfilling its life-saving mandate across Bauchi networks.
Earlier in the session, Corps Commander C.S. Luka, leading a delegation of senior officers, explained that the courtesy visit aligns with established FRSC protocol to formally present himself to the state executive following his strategic redeployment.
He commended Bauchi State i for its peaceful atmosphere and for the massive investment in road infrastructure under the present administration.
Commander Luka pointed out that the state’s superior road infrastructure and stable security environment have significantly simplified and enhanced the corps’ operational efficiency.
“We appreciate the developmental strides of this administration. The quality roads and secure environment have contributed greatly to safer and more efficient transportation in Bauchi,” the Sector Commander stated.
He subsequently reaffirmed the corps’ determination to solidify its alliance with the state executive, aiming to intensify road safety advocacy, enforce traffic regulations, and safeguard lives and property.
