The Tinubu-Barau Support Groups Coalition, under the esteemed leadership of its National Coordinator and Convener, Hon. Dr. Hafiz Sani Lima, extends its warmest congratulations to Lt. General Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau (Rtd), CFR, Ph.D (Baraden Kano) former Chief of Army Staff and former Minister of Interior on his nomination for ambassadorial appointment by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
General Dambazau is a renowned statesman whose national service and professional record speak volumes. As Chief of Army Staff, he was pivotal in strengthening Nigeria’s internal security and restructuring military command with professionalism and integrity. As Minister of Interior, he championed critical reforms in internal affairs, civil defense, and immigration systems.
A man of intellect, discipline, and patriotism, General Dambazau is universally admired, a leader who commands love, respect, and trust across communities and institutions. His legacy of service, peace-building, and national unity continues to inspire generations.
As he appears today before the Nigerian Senate for his ambassadorial screening, the Coalition expresses full confidence in his capacity to represent Nigeria with excellence.
