Nigeria’s flag carrier, Air Peace, has confirmed the activation of a bilateral interline agreement with Emirates, the Dubai-based international airline.
In a statement shared via X on Monday, January 26, 2026, Air Peace announced a strategic partnership designed to streamline international travel for passengers across West and Central Africa. This agreement allows travelers to book journeys from Nigeria and other regional hubs to global destinations like Dubai and London on a single ticket.
However, beyond simplified booking, the airline emphasized that the collaboration ensures a seamless transit experience with through-checked baggage, allowing passengers to enjoy smoother connections and greater convenience as they travel to their final destinations.
Meanwhile, building on the interline agreement established in 2023, this expansion directly tackles regional connectivity challenges to offer a more seamless travel experience. Air Peace passengers can now enjoy enhanced comfort and effortless transit as they connect to the vast Emirates network via Dubai.
Expanding beyond established Nigerian routes, the partnership allows Emirates passengers to access a broader regional network, including seamless connections to Banjul and Dakar via Abidjan on Air Peace flights.

Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, stated that the strengthened interline agreement aligns with the airline’s long-term strategy for Africa and reaffirms its commitment to the Nigerian market.
“By enhancing our partnership with Air Peace, we are expanding our reach across the continent and creating more opportunities for customers to enjoy the world-class Emirates experience,” Kazim said.
He added that the collaboration also supports inbound tourism into the region via Lagos.
