Farouk Ahmed, the chief executive officer (CEO) of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), has resigned following a meeting with President Bola Tinubu.
Tinubu, on Wednesday, December 17, invited Ahmed to the Presidential Villa in Abuja, over the ongoing allegations of economic sabotage and corruption.
Recall, on Monday, December 15, Dangote had alleged that Ahmed Farouk “paid $5 million” to a Swiss secondary school for his children’s education, describing the act as “economic sabotage and corruption”.
