Jobberman Nigeria, a leading career development and recruitment company, has paid a courtesy visit to the Bauchi State Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, seeking avenues for collaboration on youth empowerment and skills development.
During the visit, Head of Youth Engagement & Learning at Jobberman Nigeria, Mr. Innih Ikhide, explained that the purpose was to highlight the organization’s work in Bauchi State and explore potential areas of partnership with the Ministry.
Ikhide emphasized Jobberman’s commitment to equipping young Nigerians with the skills and opportunities required to excel in today’s competitive labour market. He revealed that in Bauchi State, Jobberman has already trained hundreds of young people, including vulnerable groups such as persons with disabilities, intending to connect job seekers to employers and providing them with practical insights to advance their careers.
“We are hopeful that this engagement will open doors for collaboration with the Ministry, to jointly create more opportunities for youth and other vulnerable groups in Bauchi State,” he added.
In her response, the Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Hajiya Hajara Yakubu Wanka, commended Jobberman for its efforts and assured the organization of the Ministry’s readiness to partner with credible stakeholders working to promote development in the State.
She noted that part of the Ministry’s mandate is to design and implement humanitarian initiatives that touch every segment of society, particularly the most vulnerable, and expressed optimism that collaboration with Jobberman would complement government efforts in this regard.
