Heartless armed bandits have launched a deadly attack on Wake village, in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State early Sunday, killing eight people and injured at least 20 others.
The attackers also kidnapped an unspecified number of locals during the unfortunate raid.
The community has already conducted burials for the deceased while mobilizing care for the severely injured ones.

Although, the Kaduna State Police Command is yet to release a formal statement on the killing.
