The Nigeria’s newly launched secondary school curriculum is to include modules on journalism, programming, artificial intelligence, history and fact-checking.
This was drawn in an excerpts from the yet-to-be-released curriculum document attributed to the senior special adviser to the president on social media, Dada Olusegun.
The excerpt shows that journalism is one of the modules under English Language for senior secondary classes, while programming modules are spread across both senior and junior secondary cadres.
AI and robotics are listed in the senior secondary classes, as a component of the newly introduced subject Digital Literacy.
