The death has occurred of His Royal Highness, the Emir of Zuru in Kebbi State, Major General, (Dr.) Muhammadu Sani Sami, Gomo 11, (Rtd) after a brief illness in London. His family announced the royal father’s death on Sunday. The Lagos State Government has announced that the second phase of maintenance work on the Ogudu–Ifako Bridge in Kosofe Local Government Area will commence on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, and run through Wednesday, October 1, 2025. This follows the completion and reopening of the bridge after the first phase of rehabilitation. The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) says it has removed 247 companies that were never duly registered as limited liability companies from its database in the country.
