PROF. UMARU PATE, 18 OTHERS BAGS FELLOWSHIPS OF THE NIGERIAN ACADEMY OF LETTERS.

Professor Umaru Alhaji Pate has been conferred with a REGULAR FELLOW of the prestigious Nigerian Academy of Letters (NAL) at its 27th Annual and Investiture awards held at DLI Nurudeen Alao Auditorium, University of Lagos, on Thursday

The Kaigaman Adamawa, Vice Chancellor of Federal University, Kashere, Gombe was one of the ”11th Regular Fellows 2025”

The eleven ‘’Regular Fellows 2025’’ are; Professor Ebunoluwa Olufemi Oduwale, Professor Temisanren Ebijuwa, Professor Umaru Alhaji Pate and Professor Muhammed Inuwa Umar-Buratai, Others are Professor Ameh Dennis Akoh, Professor Charles Emeka Nwadigwe, Professor Emeritus Alkassum Abba, Professor Gideon Sunday Omachonu, Professor Obiajulu Augustine Emejulu, Professor Gbemisola Aderemi Adeoti and Professor Victor Chiagozie Ariole.

However, only Professor Akinwunmi Adegbola Alao conferred under ‘’Regular Fellows 2024’’ while there was Professor Akinwunmi Ogundiran conferred under’ ’Overseas Fellows’’

Those conferred with Honorary Fellows of the Institute for this year; are His Majesty, Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Ugochukwu, CFR, mni. Obi of Onitsha, Mr. Jahman Oladejo Anikulapo and Dr. Lasisi Olagunju

There was also ‘’NAL Awards of Excellence of Humanistic Practice’’ received by Mr. Laola Ogunniyi, Alhaji Teju Wasee Kareem and Mr. Musa Alao Adebayo.
